Sneak Peek: A(pallet)othecary Console

Here’s a sneak peek at what I’m working on right now. I’ll do a full write up when it’s finished but I’m pretty confident that at the end of this project I’ll sit back and say….”That’s ridiculous.” And I hope that you will say the same. Why? Because so far I’ve only spent $5 on a piece of scrap wood from an antique store and the rest of the wood is from pallets. Nail holes, worm holes, rough cuts, and all. You may need to close your eyes and imagine the end product like this $700 Andover console from Pottery Barn.

We’re thinking about having the base be a weathered white just like the Pottery Barn one…..but I also have some leftover Butter Cream paint….so we could make it a weathered yellow. Which do you think would look best?

What do you think so far? Can you imagine what it’ll look like? Did you ever think you could make something like this with pallets?

Off to sand it down.
