Ch-Ch-Changes (to Our Dining Chairs)

Remember this chair? You shouldn’t. It’s new(ish).

I haven’t had a chance to blog about these chairs yet because life has been a little crazy. Fortunately, Tommy is awesome and has been doing all of our blogging and (project-ing) lately.

So the story on these chairs may not be entirely unfamiliar. We saw them on one of our favorite DIY blogs earlier in the spring, Young House Love. They found these chairs listed on Craigs List for $30 a piece out on a horse farm in Mechanicsville (where we live!) So really, the initial research was done for us.

(To check out Young House Love’s story on these chairs, click here).

We’ve always known we wanted Parsons chairs for the dining room once Tommy built his Farmhouse table. We walked around Pottery Barn (below), Arhaus, and Restoration Hardware enough to realize one Parsons chair could easily run us $120 – $299, including a slip cover.
