Totally Hooked

Wall hooks…..who says that they have to look utilitarian?

I am continually on the hunt for household objects with both function and form, hence our window swag holders in this post.

In this case, I was looking for a cuter solution to hang the miscellaneous “stuff” that flows through our kitchen; you know, the purses, scarves, hats, computer bags, jackets, backpacks, and umbrellas? The stuff that typically gets dumped on our kitchen island or just slung over a chair in the breakfast nook?

Maybe that’s just us.

Since we also don’t have a mudroom or back entrance, I knew that our much-needed wall hooks would be on display wherever we put them in our house.

A recent trip to Pier 1 landed me these great wall hooks on clearance that also match our current kitchen décor. I purchased the last three for $5.95 a piece, for a total of $18.
